Executives from all over the Ansonia area will be "arrested" at the place of business on January 29, 2015 and brought to "jail" at The Original Antonio's Restaurant in Ansonia to serve their time and raise "bail" money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Connecticut Office. Volunteers are needed to help staff run the event and help the check in and check out process go smoothly. Started in 1950 by a group of parents whose children had MD, the organization has grown into the world's leading voluntary agency in genetic research and patient services. MDA has over 160 local offices, 230 hospital-affiliated clinic, and 90 summer camps. MDA provides research, services and education for over 43 neuromuscular diseases. All money raised stay local to help those MDA serves in your community.
