Help Feline Freedom Coalition find great homes for our cats and kittens by helping out at the PetSmart Adoption Center. We work out of three PetSmarts; Summerville, West Ashley and Mt. Pleasant, and need volunteers at all three. So please let us know which is closer to you. You will be volunteering on a scheduled basis, at least one day a week or more if you prefer. We need you to clean the litter boxes, sweep, mop, wash down the cages, but most importantly, we need you to give the kitties a ton of love.
We are also looking for foster parents who can take in a kitty until it is ready for adoption.
There are tons of other ways you can help us at Feline Freedom Coaltion. We also need help with fundraising, grant writing, research, construction at our animal sanctuary in Ravenel and more.

About Feline Freedom Coalition
Location:
901 Red Coat Run, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464, US
Mission Statement
Our mission is to control the population of free-roaming cats in Charleston County through community action and legislative change, TNR programs, educating the public, facilitating caretakers and socializing kittens.
Description
The Feline Freedom Coalition is a non-profit organization that provides services and support to individuals and community groups interested in using TNR (trap, neuter, return or re-home) to effectively control the overpopulation of free roaming cats in Charleston County. Our services include
- education and information of the public, property decision makers and governmental agencies through our TNR Community Hotline, website, TNR training programs and central, statistical database regarding the state of free roaming cats,
- facilitating the work of caretakers involved in colony management by providing a communication network and support resources and
- the adoption of socialized feral cats and kittens through Petsmart's Adoption Outreach Program.
The Feline Freedom Coalition, the only no-cage, adoption and medical treatment facility for feral cats in South Carolina, is hoping to receive 4,000 cans of donated wet food by New Year’s Eve to feed the 200 feral cats that we care for daily on our 20 acre sanctuary in Ravenel.
Of the 3000 cats we have trapped, neutered and returned in Charleston County during the past fifteen years, these are the lucky ones! They could not be returned to their colonies due to habitat destruction, physical danger or overall fragility. Also a very small percentage of kittens do not socialize to be adopted at one of the three Petsmarts where FFC has found homes for 300 to 400 kittens and adult cats yearly since 2009.
