The mission of the Association for Individual Development is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual and mental health challenges to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. Our vision is to be a recognized leader providing best quality outcomes for individuals served in areas of housing, employment, community integration, health promotion, recovery and crisis prevention.
We have facilities in Aurora, Elgin, Yorkville and Batavia and opportunities for groups - corporate or otherwise, who want a single/one time volunteer experience in our adult day programs. Whether it's spending time with our clients at a game day, a cookout, or a dance coordinated by AID, your group's time will be greatly appreciated...and all will have fun! Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, and our opportunities are Monday through Friday during the day.
Please contact Maureen at 630-966-4020 to discuss the possibilities, and visit our website at www.the-association.org and click on "Support," to fill out an application.
