Rockey's Rescue is a 501 c 3 non-profit animal rescue. All of our dogs are placed in foster home while they wait for their forever homes. We are looking for a certified dog trainer willing to volunteer their time to join our team. The right person will be in the South King County area, practice positive reinforcement training techniques, be willing to take dogs to their home for training if need be and perform temperamnet tests on the dogs coming into the rescue. Mission Statement
Our mission is to reduce the number of adoptable dogs and cats from being euthanized in a shelter each year.
Description
We rescue dogs and cats from high kill and over crowded shelters and place them into foster homes where they can learn how to live in a home with a family. Each dog or cat is spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested (cats), receive dental cleaning (if applicable) and heartworm tested (if applicable) before going to their forever home. We are focused on taking the dog or cat that is considered high risk for euthanasia at a shelter.
