The Naomi Project, a program of Our Daily Bread, needs volunteers to mentor at-risk pregnant or newly parenting women in Northern Virginia for a year or longer as appropriate. A training session will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Kelly Square, 10777 Main Street, Fairfax. Spanish speakers are especially needed. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. A $35 nonrefundable registration fee covers training materials, a criminal background check and food at the training session. Our life-changing programs equip individuals and families with the resources and skills they need to withstand a financial emergency and begin a journey toward lasting independence and thriving.
