Bikes For Humanity PDX volunteers improve and share bicycle repair skills through time spent in the shop or throughout the summer at Sunday Parkways events.
Volunteer Mechanics refurbish and repair bikes for our grant program. Repair and refurbishing a bike that a deserving rider applicant receives is the focus and reward in ths job. We love the positive community that grows when great, talented folks come together at our shop and we recognize the unique value of such giving mechanics from all types of backgrounds.
This is a rewarding volunteer position! It's an opportunity to give bikes new life and put them back on the road for people who benefit from having access to affordable, reliable transportation.
