A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION? Got a little time to volunteer?

Come to Good Shepherd Hospice! You can visit patients in their homes or at nursing homes. Help with special projects by sewing, crocheting, playing music or assist Alzheimer’s patients with art projects.

Do you have a loveable dog? Get them licensed and bring them to visit patients.

Looking for simple office work that will keep our patients organized and receiving the best care possible? Come to our office in Irving. Irving too far? Guess what! We are moving our office to North Dallas near hwy 635/75. Please note that all volunteers need to be over 18 years old.

Our patients are located ALL OVER DFW!! I bet there is one near you that could use some love and attention. Apply TODAY!!

Description

Hospice is a comprehensive care program for patient's and famlies which emphasizes quality of life and is most effective during the final 6 months of life expectancy.

Hospice is a care system based upon the right of people to know accurately and honestly what is happening to them so they can spend the precious remaining time in the most purposeful and meaningful way consistent with they values and concerns.
