The Mission Community Beacon at Everett Middle School provides afterschool programming, support during the school day itself, and parent engagement through collaboration with program partners.
Volunteers will spend time with our middle school students and develop meaningful relationships. Each day, our students receive targeted academic interventions in study hall and then get to explore their interests in various electives, including cooking, science club, dance, recreation, STEM club, and more. Jump in and join us in our dynamic afterschool program!
The program meets at Everett Middle School (450 Church Street, SF CA 94114) from 3:30 - 6:00pm Monday-Thursday. On Fridays we have program from 12:30-6:00pm, which includes a fun field trip. Assistance is really needed during the time of 3:30 - 4:00pm, as the children are doing their academics during study hall.
