Easter Seals assists more than one million children and adults with disabilities and their families annually through a nationwide network of more than 450 service sites. Each center provides top-quality, family-focused and innovative services tailored to meet the specific needs of the particular community it serves. In Michigan we serve and support people with disabilities or special needs and their families so they can successfully live, learn, work and play in their communities. We are a non-profit organization and provide many innovative and dynamic programs. Be part of something great and join our innovative Marketing and Development department as an intern where you will be able to: Develop and implement plans for Easter Seals Michigan events and activities including fliers, social media, web, messaging, research, promotional items, and event preparation (if applicable); Uphold Easter Seals Michigan branding standards; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required; Ability to learn other software programs if needed; Support to our raffle fundraising inquiry phoneline; Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment; Strong verbal and written communication skills required; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Other duties as assigned.
