Friends and Family--please join in the fun of the annual Municipal Rose Garden pruning. With 3,500 rose plants that need individualized care, hundreds of volunteers are needed!
Training and a limited number of tools will be available. Please bring garden gloves, rakes and hand pruners if you have them.
Wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves, layering works best at this time of year.
Heavy rains will cancel the event until the following Saturday, 1/17/15.

The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
