Work closely with San Diego Diplomacy Council team to act as project manager for implementation of customized Salesforce CRM nonprofit platform. This strategic project requires leadership and ability to work effectively with key internal and external stakeholders (staff and volunteers from programming, operations and executive teams as well as 3 rd party vendor). Requires migration of historical organizational data (subject-matter experts, meeting hosts, members, donors, dinner/home hosts, contacts and volunteers) into customized Salesforce platform. User training and documentation provided by vendor will need to be customized and implemented with SDDC team to ensure effective system and user adoption within 3 months. Project completion will include implementation of ancillary apps and systems that integrate with Salesforce (such as upgrading payment processor, email marketing and event management platforms) to ensure user adoption by March 31, 2014. Deliverables: 1) Identify, clean-up and migrate necessary data to Salesforce; 2) Customize user documentation, report requirements and implement training for board of directors and staff; 3) Implement software and apps (Click N Pledge, Vertical Response, additional Salesforce apps) as needed to ensure effective integration of data between Salesforce platform and key processes and programs; 4) Ensure all bugs are addressed and user adoption is consistent over a 3 month pilot period. QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced project manager with record of successful technology/system implementations Volunteer or contract experience with nonprofit sector preferred Familiarity with CRM platforms, Salesforce for nonprofits highly preferred Strong attention to detail, project leadership and commitment to task required Experience with nonprofit payment processors (Click N’ Pledge) and email marketing platforms (Vertical Response) ideal Fluency in the Microsoft office suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills, flexibility and reliability Interest in international relations, San Diego Diplomacy Council mission and exchange programs a plus
