Our Amarillo Hospice Team is looking for volunteers that want to add to the quality of life for our patients as well as support to their caregivers.

Do you wish to contribute to your community?

Are you a pre-nursing student looking to enhance your application?

Are you a retiree or active senior that is seeking unique opportunities?

We would love to have you be apart of our team!

Some of the ways volunteers help our patients:

Offering compassionate friendship
Giving companionship to caregiver
reading
listening
working on crafts
helping with hair or makeup
playing cards and games
providing relief to caregivers

Some of the ways volunteers assist in our office:

Answering phones
filing
maintaining admission books and files
using Microsoft Office and Excel
assisting with cards and mail outs
maintaining our admission surveys

Volunteers may contribute to one or both of our opportunities.

Volunteers are the heart of hospice! They are everyday heroes that make a difference in the lives of others.
