WHAT YOU WILL DO: Assist in the development of engaging and effective email marketing strategies. Ensure email messaging is 100% accessible to everyone on both web and mobile. Manage schedule of deployment to optimize user response and actively manage email lists. Generate, analyze, and interpret data for email campaigns. Work closely with our Director of External Affairs for strategic campaigns. Assist in implementing structures, process, and guidance for DCRCC departmental units Utilize development and communications software including Salesforce and HubspotCRM. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Stable and quick on your feet- Ability to balance an intense attention to detail with swift execution Techie- We use a variety of software and technology to manage our communications, and are looking for someone who is intuitive with technology and able to figure out how to make it work best for us. Flexible creativity - Your most pressing issue will change at a moment’s notice. You’ve not only got to be extremely flexible to adapt quickly, but creative with how to most efficiently prioritize and execute for the greatest impact possible. Self-Starter - You’re learning as you go and will need to be highly self-motivated, great at managing yourself and able to design and lead campaigns independently. Detail oriented and HIGHLY organized- someone who can catch the smallest thing and manage multiple forms, applications, email and voice messages, and data at the same time and know where to find specific information at any time TIMEFRAME AND COMMITMENT: This position is for four months of service beginning in January Intern is expected to work 15-30 hours a week during service Intern is expected to participate in a 40+ hour training This position is currently open, applications accepted on a rolling basis

Description

The DC Rape Crisis Center is a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) and the designated sexual assault coalition for the District of Columbia. DCRCC is one of the first rape crisis centers in the nation and has spent the past 43 years listening to the stories of survivors of sexual assault. In our 43 rd year, we are working to empower a culture of consent.
