We are looking for a sign language interpreter with knowledge of American Sign Language. Also, if you speak a foreign language such as, Mandarin, Cantonese, another, please respond to this email, so we can get in touch with you. Thank you! Emmaus Services for the Aging is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, located in the heart of Washington, DC, that reaches out to build trust with seniors by providing support, advocacy, and services to help them remain active, respected, independent, and vital members of their community. In this effort, we are hosting a holiday party for our seniors on Friday, December 19. There will be food, vendors, live music, cultural dance presentations, caricature drawings, face painting, and more! We are expecting 185-200 seniors in attendance.

We work in Washington, D.C. with approximately 1500 older men and women, many of whom are low-income homebound, disabled, isolated and alone. We have been working with seniors since 1978.
