CALERO STABLES BEAUTIFICATION DAY

Calero County Park
Join staff for a beautification project at the old Calero Stables! For safety and aesthetics, we need your help to remove old posts stakes and wire at the Calero Stables in Calero County Park off McKean Road in San Jose.
Volunteers will meet at the Visitor Center Parking Lot at 9:00 a.m. Pre-registration is required. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. All necessary tools and work gloves are provided.

Volunteers under age 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign a volunteer waiver before they can participate in the event. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the event.

Description
Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
Become a County Parks Volunteer and see how you can play an important role in protecting and enhancing our parklands. What's more, our volunteer events are fun -- come join us to "Go Outside and Play!"
