MEADOW BEAUTIFICATION

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Join our dedicated park staff in removing invasive scotch broom! Volunteers will try to open up the meadow to its natural state.
Volunteers will meet park staff at 9:00 a.m. at the Sunnyvale Mountain parking lot in Sanborn County Park, CA, Highway 35 (Skyline Blvd.) 5 miles south of the CA 9 highway interchange.
Pre-registration is required. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes and bring a long-sleeved shirt, sunscreen and a water bottle. All necessary tools and work gloves are provided. All registered volunteers will receive a confirmation notice prior to the event, including a map and final details.

Volunteers under age 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign a volunteer waiver before they can participate in the event. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the event.

Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
