ORGANIZATION: Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care

Life Choice Hospice is committed to providing quality care for patients and families faced with terminal illnesses. Our goal is to improve the quality of a person's life through pain management and symptom control along with emotional and spiritual support. We believe that our patients and their families are members of our hospice team as they make personal decisions in planning and receiving care. Hospice offers an alternative to hospitalization. It does not hasten or postpone death but assists the patient and family in living with a terminal illness. Hospice regards dying as a natural process at life's end in which we can provide dignity and comfort for both patient and family.I am never quite sure who gains more from this experience, our patients or the members of our professional team. If you are interested in training to become one of our treasured volunteers, please contact me at Life Choice Hospice."The last good thing that may happen in a person's life, is a hospice volunteer." Won't you consider becoming that "last good thing".
