Helpers in the kitchen carve turkeys, package home delivered meals, and wash dishes

Volunteers greet guests, serve punch, sing carols, play instruments, etc

Move coat racks to sanctuary and set up coat check system

Set up table for reception area

Set up punch bowl and cookies in the parlor

Drivers deliver meals to the homebound

Volunteers serve meals, slice and serve pies and coffee

Volunteers set, clean and re-set dining tables

Set up and decorate dining tables and serving tables

Cooking crew sets up kitchen and checks food inventory

Distribute turkeys for roasting

Answer phones and verify reservations

Fill goody bags with fruit and candy

Transportation and Delivery Routes are set up and photocopies made

Description

The Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) was incorporated as a private non-profit, Community Action Agency in 1966. CEO works to improve the quality of life for the disadvantaged, while promoting their independence through hard work, advocacy, innovation, resourcefullness and the unique bundling and integration of services and solutions. Services provided include: energy conservation and assistance, employment opportunities and housing programs, utility assistance and after school programming. Finally, CEO, the home of the Weinberg Regional Food Bank, also assists our clients in need of nourishment.
