Volunteers will focus on maintaining four to five bridges that are experiencing erosion due to improper design within the High Uintas Wilderness. Work requires transporting small rocks and dirt from a nearby site to the bridges. (Heavy lifting is NOT anticipated with this project.) Additional projects include cleaning water bars and check dams, trash collection, and campsite rehabilitation. The High Uinta’s Wilderness is a high altitude area ranging from 8,000-13,000′.
