Make a truly meaningful difference. Consider joining the Holy Redeemer Hospice Family Support Team to provide companionship and support to people with life-limiting illness, and to their families. Offer a sympathetic ear; provide respite for caregivers; run errands; play cards, puzzles, etc; and be a steadfast companion during bereavement. Duties can be as unique as each of our patients' and families' situations. Average time commitment is 2 hours a week. In-depth training and background check required, and commitment to one year of service with our agency. Holy Redeemer Hospice (formerly Visiting Nurse Association of Mercer County) is a private, non-profit agency. All prospective volunteers will receive consideration without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or disability.
