National Kidney Foundation of Florida is looking for a part-time intern for a5 month commitment. As a Non-profit intern, you’ll gain experience in the following areas: Development, Event Coordination, Programs, and Volunteer Management.

The experience will include:

Development • Research local companies for grants and funding opportunities • Help solicit potential sponsors • Recruit in-kind donors for events • Come up with new fundraisers for the organization to implement • Assist with mailings and various other development tasks

Event Management • Research vendors for events • Carry out event marketing plan • Manage logistics for events • Manage a small fundraising event

Programs • Find local health fairs for NKFF to participate • Represent NKFF at health fairs and other community events • Recruit speakers for events • Identify and contact Dialysis clinics • Assist with health screenings • Identify needs in the community for NKFF to address

Volunteer Management • Recruit volunteers for various events and programs • Interview and screen candidates • Train volunteers for each event • Develop and maintain volunteer database
