Good Neighbors Project of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill have some fantastic opportunities to plug into an organization at its nasence, help shape it's trajectory, and learn about senior care (a huge, inevitable force/opportunity) as well as rubber-hits-the-road communications tactics. Specific needs to support the organization include:
- Assisting clean and segment our database of volunteers and newsletter subscribers.
- Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of our communications platforms - adding fresh content to the website, drafting content for the e-newsletter, starting/maintaining our social media accounts.
- Recieving member assistance requests and adding those to the volunteer calendar.
- Assisting with planning and executing special events, including monthly meetings.

Good Neighbors is a cooperative neighborhood project, designed to allow older residents of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill in Brooklyn both the practical means and the confidence to enjoy life to the fullest living in their own homes, in the diverse urban, multi-generational environment they value.
Description
Good Neighbors of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill is a membership organization where seniors (50 years and above) pay annual dues and have access to age-friendly resources ranging from social and educational programs (mixers, guest speakers, workshops) to helping hands (that's where volunteers come in!) to vetted professional service referrals.
Good Neighbors welcomes volunteers from all walks of life and offers them the opportunity to help their neighbors and their community. Whether you have just an hour to spare or can devote more time, we have an opportunity for you!
Volunteers, as vital members of our community, are entitled to enjoy the social and educational opportunities offered!
