The American Cancer Society Sole Burner-Appleton event is an awareness event for everyone including cancer patients, cancer survivors, their family and friends and the public to celebrate the reality that cancer can be fought and survived. It provides an opportunity for everyone who has been impacted by cancer to come together in a warm, positive, upbeat atmosphere. It is also a unique means of promoting products and community goodwill while raising funds to support the American Cancer Society’s programs of research, education, advocacy and patient services.There are lots of volunteer opportunities available from help with set up and take down to helping hand out water and food to our runners and walkers.
