"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

SASF is committed to ensuring that youth learn how to improve their own community through SASF’s new after school community service learning program. Through SASF, over 20,000 New York City school students are learning how they can be agents of change in their own communities, in spite of the (often) tremendous obstacles they face in their own lives.

This MLK Day, SASF students will be giving back to others, they will be writing letters to our service men and women, they will be making crafts projects for children in hospitals, they will be working to put a smile on elderly people in nursing homes and much more. We need your help to instill these important values in our students. Will you commit to volunteering with our students on MLK Day of Service - Monday, January 19th?

We will have locations in Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. Interested in joining us? Please complete this Volunteer Interest Form .
