People Lead - Westside Relay For Life

Do you live in the Westside Community? Do you like working with people and connecting with Cancer survivors? The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Westside is in need of a PEOPLE LEAD. This is an ongoing volunteer leadership role that will help organize the recruitment and support of fundraising teams and cancer survivors in the Westside Community. This is a GREAT opportunity for someone to give back to their community and make a difference in a big way! This role can be done alone or as a pair.Time Commitment: This volunteer is asked to meet with the Volunteer Event Leadership Team 1-2 times a month and spend 2-3 hours a week dedicated to recruiting and supporting volunteers through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings (Now through June). The Westside Relay For Life event will take place on Saturday, April 25th at Ed White High School and we hope to get someone signed on as soon as possible! You will not be alone in this role! The Westside Relay For Life Event already has a number of dedicated volunteers and an ACS staff support to provide resources and materials to help you in your role.
