If you are seeking a rewarding volunteer opportunity that allows you to share your time and unique gifts in a way that enriches the lives of others, please consider volunteering for St. Croix Hospice.

Hospice volunteers play an essential role in the hospice experience and are valued members of the hospice team. Volunteers help to fulfill the mission of hospice by improving the quality of life for people with a life-limiting illness.

You may choose to contribute to the hospice experience in many ways that could include, but are not limited to: friendly visiting and companionship, healing through pet therapy, running errands for patients, supporting families through loss, or administrative assistance in the office.

Your helpful Volunteer Coordinator at St. Croix Hospice will guide you through the necessary volunteer training to assure your success and confidence working with patients, families, and caregivers in the field.

At St. Croix Hospice, care and comfort are tailored to the unique preferences of our patients, families, and primary caregivers.

We individualize care to ensure it is provided in a way that brings dignity, respect, and compassion to all those we serve.

Description

Originally founded in Minnesota, St. Croix Hospice is named after the St. Croix River. Symbols of change, rivers are restless, sometimes moving swiftly and other times peaceful and nearly still. Like life, rivers are not always easy to navigate, and it’s good to have a guide to help you through the difficult parts. We are here to guide your end-of-life journey with care and compassion.

Our clinical staff are professional, compassionate and award-winning. Our care team includes healthcare experts who believe in the power of hospice care to increase quality of life for all people approaching their final days.
