Our volunteer Board of Directors is largely comprised of persons who have clinical and social service experience. For example, current board members include psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers. No current board members have a background in law, fundraising, marketing & development, human resources, accounting or finance. We are looking expand our board as well as it's professional diversity by adding 3-5 individuals with the aforementioned credentials. Specific governing body needs include a Treasurer and Secretary to serve as officers. Individual(s) with law, human resource or fundraising experience will serve as Board Directors. Although Pibly is motivated to enter into fundraising, monetary contributions from its board members is not required.
Our Board of Directors meetings are held quarterly at our north Bronx Main office.

Description
We operate various types of community based resididential programs for adults suffering from psychiatric disabilities some of whom may also struggle with chemical dependency and have a history of homelessness. We provide both haousing as well as flexible patterns of supports for such persons within a residential continuum ranging from residences that are supervised 24/7 to subsidized independent apartments.
