Be a part of history...Volunteer at the Firehouse Hostel & Museum! Volunteers are needed to help the local nonprofit Hostelling Arkansas, Inc open the Firehouse Hostel and Museum located in MacArthur Park at 1201 Commerce in Little Rock. There are many types of volunteer opportunities available on an ongoing basis ranging from landscaping and beautifcation, helping raise funds or updating social media, to becoming a board member. Join us for one hour or stay the entire day...any and all assistance greatly appreciated! Saturday, December 20 from 9:00am until 4:00pm Sunday, December 21 from 12:30pm until 4:00pm Monday, December 22 from 9:00am-4:00pm We are also looking for new board members for 2015! HOSTELLING INTERNATIONAL-USA

We are the American affiliate of the Hostelling International network of more than 4,000 hostels in over 80 countries. As a nonprofit organization, we are celebrating 75 years of experience in serving young travelers.

Hostelling International USA (registered as American Youth Hostels, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization founded in 1934 to promote international understanding of the world and its people through hostelling. HI-USA operates a network of over 60 quality hostel accommodations throughout the United States that are inexpensive, safe and clean. Our hostels range from urban high-rise buildings with hundreds of beds to small more remote hostels in rural settings.

HI-USA, in cooperation with other national associations worldwide, belongs to the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF). This entire network, known as Hostelling International, offers more than 4,000 hostels in over 80 countries. Hostelling International USA and the blue triangle with the tree and hut are the trademark and seal of approval of the IYHF, assuring travelers quality, affordable accommodations that are routinely inspected and travel programs worldwide.
