The advisor/committee member will supervise the work of the partner families advising them from orientation through dedication. The advisor will also liaison with the Family Support Committee chair to monitor families and stay up to date on information about all of our partner families and affiliate as a whole.
Responsibilities:
• See that families are making quarterly hours and attending required classes and meetings.
• Attend monthly committee meetings
• Communicate with the Family Services Coordinator on staff regarding family issues as needed.
• Meet with your family by phone or email on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Qualifications:
• Understanding of and passion for Habitat for Humanity ministry and the desire to promote it.
• Sensitivity to the challenges facing low-income families.
• Understanding of the difference between doing for and doing with.
• Ability to ensure the confidentiality of partner families.

We build affordable housing and also run a used building materials outlet to raise funds to support this mission.
