Last year, the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) helped bring 92,000 people above the poverty line in the state of Washington. Considered one of the best federal anti-poverty measures, the EITC boosts tax refunds so that families can save money, send their kids to college, or pay off debt. United Way's Free Tax Campaign helps clients receive all the credits they're eligible for, including the EITC, at absolutely no cost. When you volunteer with our campaign, you are a part of Washington’s largest anti-poverty campaign. YOU can be the difference in your community. There are two volunteer jobs available. Find out more at uwkc.org/taxvolunteer and learn how to get involved today.
