If you have a passion for basic mathematics, algebra, geometry, and you want to make a difference in the lives of others, consider volunteering at Water Street Ministries! We are currenly in need of math tutors to work one-on-one with our guests who would like to complete their GED. Through our individualized action plans, each guest at Water Street Ministries develops goals in various areas, including vocational development. Our staff and volunteers work together as a team to platform them as they strive towards life changes that have a lasting impact. By walking alongside a guest who is working towards their GED, you will have the opportunity to encourage them to improve their education and career opportunities. We invite you to join us by offering your time and skills to support our guests on this incredible journey of transformation!

Mission Statement
To advance the kingdom by providing rescue and renewal for homeless men, women and children in Lancaster County.
Description
We serve the homeless and hungry of Lancaster County, PA with the goal to provide comprehensive support to individuals who find themselves in the traumatic crisis of homelessness. We facilitate life change by providing stable shelter, three meals a day and connecting guests with: behavioral health support through Christian counseling, medical and dental care, and career support services.
The vision for each individual is to guide him or her out of the lifestyle that led to a state of homelessness, and that begins with meeting his or her need for food and shelter. With a Christian worldview based on biblical truths, we are changing one life at a time.
