The California Youth Empowerment Network (CAYEN) is currently seeking an intern to assist with our branding and outreach efforts through the creation and distribution of various marketing material. Responsibilities: -Work with staff and/or other interns to support social media efforts -Develop or update various marketing material, i.e. newsletters, brochures, flyers -Assist with developing a marketing campaign for membership recruitment

Mission Statement
The mission of Mental Health America of California is to ensure that people of all ages, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, etc. who require mental health services and supports are able to live full and productive lives, receive the mental health services and other services that they need, and are not denied any other benefits, services, rights, or opportunities based on their need for mental health services.
Through advocacy and education we strive to achieve these goals. Our organization and affiliates provide a conduit through which statewide coalitions on mental health are maintained and work together to promote these values.
Description
The California Youth Empowerment Network (CAYEN) is a program of Mental Health America of California whose mission is to develop, improve and strengthen the voice of Transition Age Youth (TAY) - young people ages 16 to 25 - in local and state-level mental
health policy. Through targeted advocacy, CAYEN supports TAY across the state to create positive change in the mental health system and to have a meaningful impact on the policies that shape their lives. To learn more, visit us at www.CA-YEN.org
