Events and Marketing Window Painter to serve Homeward Pet by providing colorful and promotional window paintings in the shelter's main lobby throughout the year. The Events and Marketing Window Painter promotes the organization to the public who visit through their eye-catching art.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with the events and marketing team to identify opportunities for event promotion
- Creates a mock-up or rough sketch of proposed window painting and presents to events and marketing team
- Maintains a list of supplies and inventory of items/tools needed to accomplish tasks
- Paints shelter lobby window with upcoming events/promotions during shelter during hours closed to the public
- Cleans-up tools and work area when tasks are completed
NOTE: Interested parties are asked to share a portfolio of previously produced works for staff review (minimum of three works required)

Homeward Pet's mission is to transform the lives of cats and dogs in need through compassionate medical care, positive behavior training, and successful adoption while building a more humane community.
Description
Founded in 1990 under the name "Hooterville Pet Safehaus". We started with simple goals: save and re-home cats and dogs and educate the public about spaying and neutering their pets.
In 2002 Hooterville became Homeward Pet Adoption Center. We are one of the largest no-kill shelters in the state of Washington! Each year Homeward helps over 1,300 cats and dogs find their forever home. Where do these animals come from? 50% are owner surrenders and the other 50% are animals we rescue from shelters who euthanize.
We remain small with a staff of 30 (half are part-time). And our 350+ volunteers are our backbone (thank you volunteers and donors!). Many of the rescued animals who come to Homeward get more love and attention in our shelter than they have ever known.
