Seeking Coaching volunteers for our 2019-20 ConnectSportsATL League - January 25, 2020 - April 2020

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

• 20 coaches for basketball and 8 coaches for Cheerleading
• 2 Registered Nurses to volunteer 5:00 pm -9:00 pm Wednesdays (Actual Dates January 2020 TBA) & for Saturday Game Days (TBA after January 15 - Hours are 12 pm - 6:00 pm)
• 6 Concession Stand Volunteers (Food Team) (Saturdays Only - 12 pm - 5:30 pm) to prepare and serve food
• 6 individuals to help with Safety Team/Crowd Control & Security
• 10 individuals to help with Registration, Setup and Breakdown of Evaluation Day
• 4 Music DJs - (host for 2 hour blocks - 12 pm - 2 pm, 2pm - 4 pm and 4pm - 6 pm)
• Half-time Commissioner - Provide Crowd Entertainment & reserve guest speakers
• Advertising Commissioner - Market the vision of ConnectSportsATL by placing media at local schools, social media, radio stations, and word of mouth.

Wednesdays - Practices
Saturdays - Game Days with Half-Time Performances

- K5-2nd Grade 5:30-7PM
- 3rd-5th Grade 6:30-8PM
- 6th-9th Grade 7:30-9PM

About Connect Sports - Connect Sports is the recreational Ministry of Connect Church. We serve all families in our local community through youth basketball and cheerleading, devotions, enrichment and fun to lead people toward a fruitful and successful life. We believe it takes a village to raise a child, so we have committed Connect Sports to working within our local community to help produce young men and women of integrity and character.

Columbia Middle School located at 3001 Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30034 has hosted the league for the past few years. Our Mission is to provide a 9-week top-notch sports league, which trains children from elementary to 9th grade in Basketball and Cheerleading through mentoring, life skills, exercise, and tutoring.

Participants will receive guidance from trained and experienced coaches, utilizing a proven structured curriculum, while engaging in healthy competition, and receiving positive reinforcement from all involved in the program.
