Atma is looking for skilled volunteers to come to Mumbai and work with our dynamic and growing team. Atma is a non-profit which provides intensive support to education non-profits and social enterprises, helping them solve their daily operational challenges and plan for their future growth. Faced by a lack of resources and expertise, high-potential education organisations are often unable to maximise their impact.
The Atma Accelerator program provides organisations with hands-on guidance and expertise in management and programme delivery. Atma's support enables them to become sustainable and impactful organisations delivering high quality programmes on ground. Since 2007 Atma has reached out to over 25,000 underprivileged children and youth by empowering 24 education non-profits and social enterprises across Mumbai.
Specific skills required:
If you have a background, interest or skill set in any of the following areas then we are looking for you: Marketing, Business Planning, Fundraising, Human Resources, Impact Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation, Communications (including photography, videography and written communications), Research, Program Documentation, Organisational Development.
Specific requriements:
Must be able to gain an Employment Visa to work in India (we assist with this process) and be willing to live in the bustling city of Mumbai!

Description
GlobalGiving was founded by two former World Bank executives who decided to use the Internet to create a highly efficient marketplace. The GlobalGiving platform enables more funding to reach projects throughout the globe, and, at the same time, provides a more transparent, engaging way for donors to give.
Because we enable donors to give directly to projects, they know exactly where their money is going. Donors can see progress updates on most projects as funding is received and goals are met.
Donations made through GlobalGiving are higher impact because:
- Money is going directly to a well-defined project versus supporting general operating expenses
- Projects on globalgiving.com have exposure to thousands of donors, enabling us to aggregate multiple sources of funding for each project
- Many projects on globalgiving.com are located in the developing world where a little money goes a long way
