The volunteer will be doing the following:
- Write Grants and proposals for the organisation as per organisational need
- Develop a matrix representing a problem analysis matrix (of the context of our work) and a strategy matrix (for the strategies we are using) for each of our four Programmes on Gender equality, Water and Sanitation, Peace and Justice, Livelihood security
- Work with our field and Ahmedabad based team to write up the overall Impact of our work and develop it as a presentation and a brochure
- Develop Presentations to showcase Utthan's work
Specific Skills required:
- Creative writing skills
- Excellent command over the English language
- Understanding of the Indian social scenario and voluntary sector
- Interest and Skills in Grant writing and development
- Self motivated and willing to work alone and in a group
- Basic Knowledge of Gujarati language (will be preferred)
- Knowledge of successful grant writing (will be preferred)
Specific requirements:
The volunteer will have to bear their own costs. Utthan will cover all travel, board, lodging expenses incurred for assigned work.
- Should be willing to travel to district field areas and use public transport
- Should have a sense of respect for the communities we work with
