This December Metrocrest Services will provide 1,100 families (including 2,900 children) with toys and food for the holidays. To accomplish this your help! We have volunteer shifts available weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Individuals or groups welcome.

Set up and Sorting: Week day shifts available to assist in sorting toys and food to prepare our store for clients. 13 years and older.

Santa's Helpers: Assist clients in choosing the perfect toys to put a smile on their child's face. 18 years and older.

Food Distributors / Restockers: Distribute holiday food boxes and restock toy shelves as toys. 18 years and older.

Runners: Assist clients to their vehicles and help load toys and food into their car. 14 years and older.

Metrocrest Services provides a wide range of emergency aid, financial assistance and services to support independent living for individuals, families and seniors.

We serve individuals living in:

  • Carrollton
  • Farmers Branch
  • Addison
  • Coppell
  • the city of Dallas in Denton County

Our services include:

  • Rent assistance
  • Utility bill assistance
  • Food Pantry
  • Budgeting and Financial education
  • Employment Counseling
  • Senior Services (for ages 60 & over)
    • Home delivered meals
    • Eat Smart, Live Strong food distributions (for PAN food recipients)
    • Transportation
    • Minor home repairs
    • Grab bar or wheelchair ramp installations
  • Medical Aid
    • Vial of Life kits
    • Medical equipment loans (wheelchairs, canes, transfer benches, etc.)
  • Information & referrals
  • Case management
  • Seasonal programs including distribution of school shoes & supplies, summer food for children, holiday food and gifts, holiday baskets for seniors
