A simple cheek swab is all it takes to possibly save a life!
Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to matching bone marrow and stem cell donors with patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other life threatening diseases. Nationwide, we run donor drives at hundreds of locales in an effort to swab individuals interested in becoming part of the worldwide registry.
Volunteers are desperately needed to facilitate and run donor drives to help swab potential donors. Volunteers also ensure that potential donor’s consent forms are properly signed, and return all drive materials to Gift of Life. Full training and support are provided to volunteers. Gift of Life currently maintains a growing registry of over 385,000 volunteer donors and has facilitated more than 4,000 transplants for patients in need.
