Plan and or carry out hands-on activities for children about the ecology of Spa Creek - a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. The event is a fundraiser for Spa Creek Conservancy, a non-profit dedicated to the health of Spa Creek.

The mission of Chesapeake Children's Museum is to create an environment of discovery about oneself, the peoples, the technologies, and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay area for all our children and for the children in us all.
Description
CCM is a hands on museum to teach children about themselves, their community, and their environment. Exhibits focus on topics from the Chesapeake Bay, to Space. Programs include teaching sign language to babies, to African American history, to teaching children Spanish. The museum and its programs are primarily run by volunteers.
