Work in partnership with the NKF to guide the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Kidney Walk event in your area (Hampton Roads, Southwest Virginia, or Central Virginia).
Time Commitment: 4 hours/month
Responsibilities:
- attend monthly meetings
- recruit new teams
- promote event
- assist other committee members
- attend day of event
- serve as liaison
The National Kidney Foundation's Kidney Walk is the nations largest walk to fight kidney disease. Held in nearly 100 communities (Roanoke, Hampton Roads, Richmond), the event raises awareness, and fund lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families, and those at risk.
