ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Eastern Virginia Region

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To support the delivery of blood and other mobile-related materials to hospitals and blood drives.

OPEN TIME DAYS

  • Scheduled Blood Center Deliveries (BCDs) begin at 7am Monday through Saturday.
  • Emergency Hospital Deliveries are scheduled as needed. Volunteers are needed to be available for emergency calls to deliver blood to hospitals as requested.

REQUIRED TRAINING
Training will be provided by qualified staff.
