  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care and a We Honor Veterans Level 2 Partner, is recruiting veterans to volunteer to spend time with hospice patients who are also veterans.

The Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer Program pairs recruited veteran volunteers with hospice patients who have been identified as veterans. Veteran volunteers relate and connect with veteran patients at a deep level, thereby helping create an atmosphere that facilitates inner peace and reflection.

The next orientation will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 99 Hawley Lane, Suite 1204, Stratford, CT, 06614. An interview and background check must be completed prior to registration.
