Connecticut Food Bank is in need of a weekly volunteer who can safely assist with loading/unloading 35 pound boxes of food, and assist with delivering boxes inside each designated school. Some lifting, carrying and stairs stairs may be involved. This is an ongoing weekly commitment through the entire school year. One volunteer is needed for each day Monday through Thursday.
Volunteer will ride on the truck with our driver and depart from our Fairfield warehouse, 74 Linwood Ave, at 8:30AM and return to the warehouse around 3:00PM
The time commitment is approximately 8:30am-3:00pm
Available day depends on first come basis (choice of M,T,W,Th).
