East Haven Mobile Pantry Truck Assistant

Connecticut Food Bank is in need of 2 men (or women) who can safely load/unload, lift & carry 50 pound bags of produce to meet our Mobile Pantry truck at a designated East Haven location on the first Tuesday of every month (rain, shine or snow) and assist the MP driver from 8:30-10:30 AM.
Volunteers will assist the driver once a month with setting up/taking down tables, unloading/loading produce from/to the truck, breaking down cardboard, cleaning up and re-packing the pantry truck.
This is a strenuous but very rewarding opportunity and it does require an ongoing commitment (of once per month every month).
