Pathways to Compassion Hospice is a Level 3 member of the We Honor Veteran's Campaign. Our hospice care team of professionals and volunteers strive to ensure that our veteran patients recieve special recognition and gratitude for their service to our country.
We are looking for volunteers with former or current military experience to serve as companions to our very important veteran patients. As a part of honoring our vets, we also conduct a special ceremony where we present the veteran with a pin and certificate from the Nebraska Hospice Veteran Partnership. We would like military volunteers to assist in these ceremonies as a veteran-to-veteran volunteer for patients receiving end-of-life care.
Recently, we became a part of the Vietnam 50th Anniversary Commemoration. We are honored to serve and thank all of our Vietnam veterans.
If you would like more information about this opportunity, please call 402-333-3149 for more information.
Thank you for your interest!
