We need adult volunteers to help us promote The Children's Museum of the Upstate at community and sporting events! The ideal volunteer will: Be an enthusiastic and informative supporter of the museum Help set-up marketing table / booth Talk to visitors about museum programming, events, and opportunities Promote giveaways, raffles, or other marketing strategies Encourage guests to participate in basic craft or activity Mentor younger volunteers (middle school & high school) at events Locations vary; usually near downtown Greenville. Great resume builder for college students/ entry level employees. Great for social volunteers!

All of our volunteers must fill out an application and meet with the volunteer coordinator. Adult volunteers must be referenced checked and complete a background check.

The Children's Museum of the Upstate is the 7th largest children's museum in the US. It offers 18 interactive exhibits for guests of all ages, afterschool programming, special events, birthday parties, and public hours programming in the areas of art, science, health, fitness, nutrition, woodworking, and early childhood education.
