Purpose: The Volunteer Blog Writer plays an integral part in keeping the Be The Match volunteer community informed on current opportunities, events, and to raise awareness of volunteer impact on the Be The Match mission.
Position Title:
Volunteer Blog Writer
Location:
Virtual/From Home
Key Responsibilities:
- Write stories and create relevant features for blog postings one to two times a month to go on the Be The Match Volunteer website.
- Use the most compelling information about Be The Match in your blog posts.
- Comply with the Be The Match confidentiality and branding guidelines to ensure that all communication about Be The Match is suitable.
- Help promote Be The Match volunteer events and opportunities through blog posts to raise awareness and increase engagement.

Human Resources Coordinator
Length ofAppointment:
Six months, renewable as needed
Time Commitment:
10-15 hours/month
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Eligible candidates will be age 18 years or older, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who would benefit from cellular transplant.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of Wordpress is helpful, but not required
- Adherence to Confidentiality policy and successful completion of background check.
Support Provided:
Training for this role will be provided via the Be The Match/ NMDP volunteer supervisor, as well as other Be The Match staff, who will be available on an ongoing basis to answer questions and provide assistance as needed.
