About Us
Save the Water™ (STW™) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the world water crisis through excellence in water science research and by forming alliances with organizations, scientists, universities, media, businesses, and governments around the world to promote awareness of water contamination issues.
Save the Water, Inc. is currently seeking a Web/Marketing Coordinator to assist with day-to-day maintenance of the external Save the Water website. The Web/Marketing Coordinator will work closely with all areas of the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that web content is kept up-to-date and error-free.
Primary responsibilities will include maintaining the functionality of all website linked accounts. The Web/Marketing Coordinator will also assist in Site Lock, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, Alexa, Stumbleupon, Host Gator, Drop Box (back up).
Special skills and knowledge
· Ability to work with limited supervision in the areas of website content management and organization, utilizing a web-based content management system.
· Proficiency in content messaging, content development, and SEO.
· Strong writing skills, and the ability to prioritize.
· Knowledge of social and mobile media, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
· WordPress is a plus.
· A team player.
· Strong attention to detail is an absolute.
