We are currently looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing equal access to education to join our rapidly growing mentor team. Join us on our outings and engage with high achieving low-income 6th-8th graders.
During this time, the mentor and protégé discuss school, family, friends, and partake in our career/cultural exposure outing. Together, the students and mentors share advice for personal, academic, and professional success.
Position Responsibilities:
-4 hours per month
-Spend time with middle school students, provide them with guidance, outline plans for success.
Requirements:
-Must be a college graduate.
-Must interact with mentee at least 4 hours per month.
-Must be dedicated to the mission of providing access to education for students of disadvantaged backgrounds.
-Must provide own transportation to site and activities with students
