Volunteers for the Weekday Breakfast Service will work in the kitchen, serve breakfast and interact with the women of Angeline’s Center for Homeless Women. For many of Angeline’s women, meals are the highlight of the day and providing them "service with a smile" is important. Additionally, volunteers help the kitchen staff increase efficiency and keep the daily meals running smoothly. Angeline's serves two breakfasts every morning, one at 7:15 am, and the second at 8:10 am. Volunteers will work in the kitchen doing a variety of assignments. These may include: serving, prepping, stocking, cleaning and cooking. Volunteers will be directly interacting with the women of Angeline’s. Therefore, a positive, non-judgmental spirit is a must!

Details:

  • 2 volunteers needed for each shift Weekday mornings 7-10 am
  • Youth are welcome. However, the minimum age is 14 and anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
